Lore Entry #300 - What do you want to read?!

Recommended Posts

At present, the A'therys Wiki has 283 pages! We're coming up to the big Three Zero Zero, and I thought I'd put out the option for people to suggest what they would like to know within the world of A'therys.

This can range from anything - from metaknowledge regarding an event or the world itself, to more general information like "I really want to know more about ____"

While most suggestions will be considered; a few ground rules

- Preferably, it should be able to fit into one article

- No requests of "make ____ canon"

- This won't be a poll; but I will gauge peoples' reactions/responses to suggestions placed in here!

It’s funny because this would 100% be considered lore.

What were the sins that Von the Timekeeper committed, that caused Llyrrh to take action against him? It'd be nice to have a short tale explain what happened.

I know this question is like a month old, but I remember Anvil talking about it in one of those big lore chats he used to host all the time.

Limnas Von created a something like computer- Like, a sentient AI of sorts? If I remember right? And this counted as creating life, which was pretty taboo if you weren't Yeor? There was a reason why it was wrong but I just can't remember. He was an old, grandfatherly god so I mean... I always pictured him like some steampunk Geppetto like figure, at least before Llyrrh obliterated him.

He never did anything else wrong. The computer was enough for Llyrrh to go nuclear on him, his computer, and his followers. His followers were erased from existence, as if they were never there in the first place (again, take this with salt because I have the memory of a cow) and the computer was destroyed. Limnas Von himself became the God of Broken Glass. (not sure if they're still rolling with that title though)

SO
TL;DR Llyrrh hates computers

Reminds me of Dune. Computers were deemed too powerful, so they were banned (far far in the future). Humans were bred as calculators as a result. I don't remember what Limnas did either, so this would be an interesting article to explore.

    • A'therys Evo Returns (Plugins and Player Data Included!)
      Hello everyone, new and old!

As you may or may not have heard, we have brought back a functional build of A'therys Evo onto the server. We've noticed that a lot of people have been wanting a taste of the A'therys experience and having a place in-game to relive some of your favourite memories will go a long way towards achieving that.

So with the website returning to it's dark theme, we've made a bunch of improvements to the lorelanding!

Added a MAP to the lorelanding!

This map (see below for all 5 playable nations lit up) will light up a nation when you hover over it; and allow you to click into it to go to the nation's overview page!
